An in-house iPad application developed in 2012 as part of Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) branding department. It serves as an alternative proposal to implement a more interactive 3D navigational experience of ZHA’s projects beyond the existing static format of videos and images. The application is single-handedly developed using openFrameworks/C++ in Xcode and all digital materials were extracted directly from the office database. Although the app had been exhibited alongside the Aquatic Centre at the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) as one of the featured building projects for the London Olympics 2012, due to unforeseen circumstances, this project was not further developed after the RIBA exhibition.
An in-house Java applet developed in 2012 as part of Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) branding department. It serves as an alternative proposal to implement a more interactive 3D navigational experience of ZHA’s projects beyond the existing static format of videos and images on the web. The ability to allow users to alter a Zaha product while maintaining the original stylistic expression was made possible by varying the geometry’s principal parameters. The application is single-handedly developed using Processing/Java. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, this project was not further developed.
